Our newsroom. Our standards.
Our commitment to you.
Our commitment to you.
IT Prime TV is India’s dedicated web-based technology television channel. The trust our audience places in us is the most important asset we hold — and this editorial note sets out, clearly and without qualification, the principles that govern every story we publish, every programme we broadcast, and every piece of content we put our name to.
We believe the technology community — the professionals, founders, enterprise leaders, and organisations that form our audience — deserves a media platform that is honest, rigorous, independent, and unafraid to ask the difficult questions. That is the standard we hold ourselves to, every day.

01 · Independence
Our editorial decisions belong to our newsroom — and no one else.
IT Prime TV operates as a fully independent media organisation. Every editorial decision — which stories we pursue, how we frame them, which voices we amplify, and what conclusions we draw — is made exclusively by our editorial team. These decisions are not subject to influence from advertisers, commercial partners, investors, sponsors, or any external party, regardless of the nature of their relationship with our organisation.
We maintain a firm and non-negotiable separation between our editorial function and our commercial operations. A company’s advertising or sponsorship relationship with IT Prime TV does not entitle them to editorial coverage, does not shield them from critical or investigative reporting, and does not grant them any right to review, modify, or approve content before publication.
Advertising buys space on our platform. It does not — and will never — buy influence over our journalism.
All sponsored and partner content published on IT Prime TV is clearly and conspicuously labelled as such, making it always distinguishable from our original editorial reporting. We will never blur that line — because our audience’s ability to trust what they read depends entirely on our commitment to keeping it clear.
02 · Accuracy
We verify before we publish. Every time, without exception.
In a media environment where speed is frequently prioritised over substance, IT Prime TV holds itself to a different standard. Accuracy is not a best effort — it is a baseline requirement. Every factual claim published on our platform, every statistic cited, every attribution made, is verified through credible and independent sources before it reaches our audience.
We do not publish unverified claims, even when they originate from senior or credible sources. We do not amplify rumour, speculation, or unconfirmed intelligence as fact. When a story is developing and the full picture is still emerging, we say so clearly — and we update our coverage promptly and visibly as verified information becomes available.
When we make errors — and in a fast-moving technology news environment, occasional errors are a reality we accept with humility — we correct them promptly, publicly, and completely. Corrections are published in the original content, clearly marked, with full acknowledgment of what was incorrect, what the correction is, and when it was made.

- Multi-source verification — No single-source claims on significant stories. All major assertions are corroborated by at least two independent, credible sources before publication.
- Right of response — Any individual or organisation the subject of critical coverage is given the opportunity to respond prior to publication. Their response, or their decision not to respond, is noted in the story.
- Source transparency — We identify our sources wherever possible. Where confidentiality is necessary, we clearly state that information was provided by a source who requested anonymity, and we explain why that request was honoured.
03 · Fairness & Balance
We reflect the full complexity of every story we cover.
Technology is a contested space — commercially, politically, ethically, and socially. Our commitment to fairness means we approach every subject with an open mind, a genuine willingness to be challenged, and a responsibility to represent the full range of credible perspectives on any issue of significance.
IT Prime TV does not advocate for companies, products, platforms, political positions, or ideologies. We do not allow our coverage to be shaped by institutional affiliations, industry relationships, or personal bias. Where our reporters and editors hold opinions — as all informed professionals do — those views do not migrate into our news reporting.
News reporting
Factual, verified, impartial. The who, what, when, where, and how — without editorial advocacy or position.
Opinion & analysis
Clearly labelled, bylined content. The views of the named author — not the position of IT Prime TV.
Sponsored content
Always explicitly identified as partner or sponsored content. Produced entirely separately from our editorial function.
Press releases
Published as received from the originating organisation, clearly identified as a press release, and not presented as editorial coverage.
04 · Transparency
We are open about who we are, how we operate, and how we are funded.
IT Prime TV is owned and operated by its founding team, headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana. We believe our audience has an unqualified right to know who owns the media they consume, how that media is funded, and what commercial interests — if any — may have a bearing on the content they are presented with.
Our revenue is generated through advertising, sponsorships, content partnerships, event media partnerships, and the IT Prime Jobs platform. None of these commercial relationships influence our editorial coverage. Where a potential conflict of interest exists — for example, where a company is both an active advertiser and the subject of a news story — we disclose that relationship within the coverage and apply our editorial standards with additional scrutiny.
Our journalists and editors are required to disclose personal financial interests relevant to stories they are covering. We do not accept gifts, hospitality, or payments of any kind from individuals or organisations in exchange for editorial coverage, editorial access, or editorial positioning of any nature.
Transparency is not a policy statement at IT Prime TV. It is the standard by which we ask our audience to hold us accountable.
05 · Feedback, corrections & grievances
Your feedback makes us better. We take it seriously and act on it.
We actively welcome feedback from our audience, our sources, and the organisations we cover. If you believe a story published on IT Prime TV contains a factual error, misrepresents a situation, is unfair to an individual or organisation, fails to give adequate right of response, or does not meet the editorial standards set out in this note — please tell us.
All formal feedback and grievances submitted through our editorial contact channel are reviewed by editorial leadership within 48 working hours. Where a correction or clarification is warranted, it will be made promptly, and acknowledged transparently on the relevant content.
